Alteration to existing loft conversion

Hello

I have just moved into a house that has had a loft conversion completed in 2009, all signed off by control.

The current loft conversion is one large room with partial wall through the middle with an en-suite. The previous owner left plans for their original intention of having the loft split as 2 bedroom with one en-suite.

I am intending to split the room where the existing partial wall is with a stud wall with insulation and fire rated board. Create a new door way using a firedoor etc. This will create the 2 seperate bedrooms and one en-suite.

Would this be breaching any building regs if i were to do this?
