Altering Lead Work

There is no harm in cutting it as your mark.
It will still function . It would be better without the holes and tucked behind the cladding though .

Plasterboard goes up, as always, the correct way depending on method and fixing background.

Why cut it - why disturb something thats worked for 5yrs?
Ever hear the old saying "dont touch it if it works"? You have now.
The only thing disturbed here is you tel.

My firm do lots of remedial roof work, and for the last few years have always installed custom kick-outs - just in case .
No call backs.
Your firm tel ? Do you own it ? call outs and kick backs more like:ROFLMAO:

I'd agree the leading should of been tucked under the cladding but due to the kick out that wasn't possible. Earlier in the week I cut the kick out as I'd proposed too and tucked the rest of it under the cladding.

I'm much happier with it now and so far no rain has overflown the gutter.

Thanks
Chris

looks tidier ..

The soil pipe still needs a weathering collar to weather the pipe to the lead slate upstand..
