have you a little bit more info Yes, he`s just suggested you replacing your current Electric system with an alternative..........another Electric heating system.
Well it is an alternative to storage heaters. And gives a backup source of hot water generation.

When he said alternative, I think he may have meant an alternative to Electric
as in.....not Electric....
