Alternative to screwing?

This is what I mean, look at the picture.
2 holes so to use an sds (broken lines) from inside the corner cabinet (note what it is), straight into the wall to fix a 2x2 levelled with the rest of the cabinets.
Alternative is to mark the level, remove the cabinet, fix the 2x2 and then refit the cabinet.

hi, thanks for the replies. In the end i tried to screw at an angle but i couldn't get any bite on the rawl plugs, so i decided to shove loads of no nails behind the batton and wedge it. It is solid, and level, so thats sorted. cheers for input
