Alternatives to ptfe tape

Need to fit 13 radiators and looking for alternatives to fit the trvs and lockshield valves to speed up the installation

What products would you recommend?

I've found the following online which appear to be highly rated

Loctite 577
jet-lube v2 plus
Fernox LS-X

What would you use?

Will an alternative to ptfe tape really save that much time on the job? I’ve never really found it time consuming.

I've gone back to ptfe tape for rad tails... It gives a neater finish than 55 IME.

I’ve never gone away from it. Mind you, I’ve only ever fitted about a dozen rads in my whole lifetime.

When done can't you unwind and slice off the remaining, that's how I tidy the end

Nige, PTFE is a lot quicker than hemp.

Never had a problem with PTFE always been my weapon of choice

Fernox is garbage. It blocks pipes. Silicon.
