like it thing is ive never been into radio and the likes like you and peter.n.
i remeber my first crystal set i made in a cigar box and the big earphones
and getting the aerial up the highest nearby tree for a good signal
listening to sam costa on radio luxemburg at night
and later in life taking the big valves [ which got smaller ]out radios to pay a few pence to get em tested for some reason
also had an illegal cb in me wagon when they first started off over here
anyway i drift from the subject
if i had took my own advice and made safe before i started ,or do as i say not as i do , could have turned out better
maybe its time to put the slippers on and retire graciously
how did we manage before remote controls with a wire attached
