Hi, I am currently trying to remove a number of old, aluminium glass frames from my brothers office complex, I have tried searching google and youtube for information on how to carry out the task, while finding information on simular windows I failed to find any information on this spiciffic design of window. As you can see from the pictures and drawings below there are no visable screws on the frame, The window is also split up. Any help will be much, much appreciated, Thank's a lot.

They look like they are internally face puttied or beaded

Thanks for the reply! I am not to sure if they are but I am more concerned about taking out the frame itself, There don't seem to be any visible screws on the frame but there must be because it is an aluminium frame? Would you know where they are? Very basic question I know i'm a bit of a newbie.

Hard to say without some pics of the inside.
It possibly looks as if the walls were built around the windows in which case its probably easiest to just smash the glass out and cut the frames to pieces with either a disc cutter or a reciprocating saw

Thank you! But would there be another way to take out/cut the frames without a reciprocating saw or disc cutter? My tools are fairly limited and don't have money to hire.

Hack saw. But I would highly recommenced investing in a power tool!

Looks like putty is just a crude effort to seal frames, more likely it's just sealant.
Any internal pics ? would expect them to be clip in frames from the inside.
This removed will give access to frame fixings.

Take the beads of or putty remove glass to reveal fixing screws

Yes a hacksaw would be fine on Ali but from what I can see in the pics it looks more like really old Steel windows which would be harder work.

You should be able to get a cheap 4" grinder for about £15-25. But get several good blades for cutting metal. They do some that are about 1mm thick that would fly through those frames for £1-2 each.

Dont forget some goggles
