American Style Samsung Fridge - Paint Came off

Hello
The paint on the ice maker display on my American Style Samsung Fridge (model RS68N8230SL) unexpectedly came off. I've attached a picture. Is there a way I can fix this myself? I tried searching for a replacement part but can't seem to find the same one.
Has anyone experienced anything similar? The fridge is fairly new and it now looks old and damaged. Any help will be much appreciated! Thank you

Just a thought are you sure it s not scale, looks like it in photo.
Worth trying to clean gently with a drop of white vinegar.

Thanks for your reply, I am pretty sure the paint came off but may give it a go with white vinegar.
