An Imperial pipe in the central heating

Hello If there is a pipe/s thats an old imperial one (is that a 3/4 inch one)? Is that a problem?
Im talking about getting a fit with modern and also any other reason to change it?

If it’s 3/4 it will be 50 years old, but copper was better quality then so may be ok , can always be pressure tested

just simply connect with a compression fitting and use an imperial olive, sometimes called a green ring
