I have an upstairs ring, and a downstairs ring. I am also planning on having a kitchen ring powering - oven, fridge, washer, cooker hood and dish washer. It will be difficult to run a return the the CU. Can i be lazy and wire this circuit as a radial (wired in 2.5mm with a 20A MCB i think?).

Thanks

Oven, washer and dishwasher are more than likely three of the highest rated appliances in your house, you'd be pushing it for a 20A radial. Might get through by the skin of your teeth with a 4mm² 32A radial though.
Please be aware this is notifiable work under part p of the building regs.

Thanks spark, I'll go for the 2.5mm ring then, that should keep us all happy! BTW yes building control are informed.

Cheers
