The front two external corner vertical edges of a standard traditional chimney stack in a living room has been coated in mortar (sand/cement).

If wanting to add an angle bead along the two vertical corners in conjunction with the bonding plaster and finishing plaster: would you:

a) attach angle beads, then apply bonding plaster, the apply finishing plaster - or -
b) apply bonding plaster, attach angle beads, apply finishing plaster

Either.
If building out with bonding use the one pictured.
For a thinner coat of bonding use thin coat beads after with the multi

As above, but I’d personally always do a). Slightly better job imho, can get the bead bang on plumb at that stage and not rely on dubbing out a skim bead

And if doing a), cut back the bonding along the bead aris a little bit before skimming

When I've watched my plasterer mate doing plastering for me, I’m pretty sure he flops a few dollops of plaster on the corners and then sinks the angle bead into that, tapping it and using a spirit level to get it straight.
