good morning forums i hope there is someone in here can help me out as im goinf completly nuts
i have a ariston microgenus 23 mffi and up until about a week ago it had given me 6 almost clean years of service but now nothing.
the problem i have is after draining and flushing the system out ready for this next winter i have had problems with both hot water and heating infact i have niether.
so i search over the net and found what i thought was the same problem that the preassure is at 1 to 1.5 bar inthe system power and such is on and connected but when i open the hot water tap the dhw flow switch comes on ( small red led on the back of the switch)but then nothing else no pump wind up no fan and no ignition and the same with the hot water the stat calls but nothing comes running .
so i swapped out the main circuit flow switch as stated in the booklet for the boiler and still nothing but if i fiddle (lol) with the switches and the grub screw on the rear of the pump i can get the water to fire up also if i short out the main flow switch it will both call for hot water and heating when ever i call for it
so what im asking for is any ideas on where to go next with this ive gone as far as to remover and clean everything to do with the water system in the boiler and still nothing and im getting ready to call someone else in but would rather save my money at the minute
