Another CMT927 question!

Eaga have just installed a new boiler and a Honeywell RF Y6630 kit. As I previously had a programmable room thermostat I want to change the HCW80 unit for a CMS927B1049.

My question is can I just swap the units over and just "bind" as per installation instructions or do I have to change any of the settings in the receiver unit HC60NG?

You can just swap and bind but I'd be inclined to get the kit and swap the receiver box as well. This will plug into the same base unit and give you a complete wireless stat to flog on e blag.

As I understand it, with the kit the receiver and stat would be already "bound". So would I just plug in the receiver and it will work?

yep, turn off the power first though to avoid damaging the receiver.
