Hi all
Have been reading many posts about pumping over into FE tank. One solution often given is to raise height of expansion pipe in loft, and forming an inverted U into tank.
Because of the location of location of airing cupboard and pipe work, any increase in height of expansion pipe would necessitate running it at a diagonal, (along the pitch of the roof rafters), before bending vertically to the FE tank.
Are there any issues that I may be unware of regarding running pipe diagonally?
Many thanks in advance.
