Right, the sticky requests detail, so here it is...!
Installed a couple of years ago, was working just dandy for first 12-16 months or so, then it started getting sluggish at starting up for DWH,could have been CH too, but never heard it. You know, when it would all sound fine at starting and ignition, but wouldn't actually fire up for some reason, it would then go quiet, and restart a couple of seconds later... 2-4 attempts would see it up and heating the water. Also, occasionally, in the shower, it would get hot, then shut down, then restart after a few seconds, the water didn't get 'cold', just less warm before heating back up again.
Anyway, over the last 6-8 weeks, things have got worse.
Firstly, the how water was taking longer and longer to start, and sometimes when it did start, it would heat up, then shut down for longer, minutes, and no, there was no over heat light on either.
Having read on here about possible symptoms, I went in, and checked a few things, could find no obvious fault, so plugged things back in, turned it on, and hey presto, it worked.
No over the last week, it's got worse still. Not it takes many attempts to fire up, DHW or CH, and it's clicking a lot, like a relay is failing to latch. Sometimes the fan comes on, sometimes it doesn't, sometimes the gas starts, sometimes it doesn't... when on CH duty, it (eventually) fires, heats up, water get (too) hot, then it shuts down, totally, like it's off timer (but still no overheat light) pump stops... then it fires again and goes through the same sequence... Same sequence for DHW too...

Now I am here, hoping for help! Going by what i've read here, it seems the current fault is likely to be the controller board at the front. Could that have been causing all my issues?
The last thing I want to do is spend a hundred quid on parts, then find something else is wrong with it too! Obviously, whilst I'm fairly technical on many areas, boilers I ain't... so whilst I am happy to fiddle, and replace what I'm told to, even most fault checking, I'd also be ok with paying for someone to look at it, just worried of being ripped off... :(

Any help anyone can supply would be much appreciated!

Usually the fan modulation board causes problems on the CH after the HW has been on.

This will keep making the boiler try to fire, fail, try again etc etc.

Cheers chap.
Is that board part of the front board, or located near the fan itself?
Repairable or replace? Rough price?

Should also add, that it is not specifically when either has run, it can happen any way...

Also this constant clicking is getting more noticeable... Heard it again this morning, the CH was trying to fire up, and I can hear relays clicking away, eventually it fires, but it takes some doing!
