Another thread arguing about the value of vaccines (Ed.)

Eh? I never saw babies in the TB jab queue at school? Or any babies getting the covid jab. I saw plenty of teens though.

You do know what 'encourage' means don't you boyo?

Lol Jimmy.....u are so daft.....

I would not consider those that are medically trained to be ignorant
As you don’t consider medically trained to be ignorant, you must therefore believe that the vast majority of medically trained who supported the covid vaccines are not ignorant

You wait.
In 3, 5, or 10 years time the terrible side effects may manifest. They might not, but as you said, you can't not have it now.
It's too late.
the anti vaxxers that got covid and died……can’t now not have covid infection without the vaccine

That is not my experience form the person I know. About half had it and wanted it another 1/4 only had the 1st and never got the second and another 1/4 did not want it at all. All the ones that got 2 straight away were the foreign nurses working on work visas ( I guess they had an extra reason not to rock the boat)
Most statements you will see about nurse uptake are based on quoting at least 1 jab - which is not considered as taking the vax. As soon as the threat of job loss was over they never got their second jab.
According to this from the RCN over 40% were not fully jabbed with a booster.
One of the statements in the piece----
The college said it was critical that all nurses had a Covid vaccine so that they, their families and patients were protected,
This was the official line that we were constantly told and yet a it turns out it did not "protect" you neither did it "protect" your family

Nurses who were asked why not take the vax said-- The most common reasons they cited were: worry that the vaccine was unsafe or had not been tested enough; fears about side-effects; and belief that it may not prove effective in the long term against all strains of Covid-19.
They were called anti vaxers - conspiracy theorist but it turns out all of their fears were correct.

There has never been an mrna vaccine approved for use, until the man-made covid-19 virus leaked from a lab.
So the Astra Zenica one is fine? And Jassen, and Sinopharm, and Covaxin, and Nocavax, and The Sanofi one?

No concerns about those?

Yet another example of your dishonest narrative.

The evidence shows the vaccine massively reduced the risk of serious illness from covid.

The evidence shows the vaccine significantly reduced a person's viral load if they got the virus

So yes being vaccinated did indeed protect people.

Aveatry pretends that saving lives and preventing serious illness and hospital admissions is not protecting them.

That article was from Feb 2021. Guess when the first front line staff were allowed their first shot? January. Did you know that some of them weren't allowed a booster shot until three months later? I know someone who wasn't allowed theirs untill well after Feb.

You haven't acknowledged that you were absolutely wrong about your 80k nurses claim. Do you agree you were wrong?

False information.

1) your Guardian link from Feb 2021) doesn’t support what you claim….so you are blatantly lying

2) your claim is wrong

Last year, during the second winter of the pandemic, more than 1.1 million (74%) of trust based healthcare staff received a booster vaccination against COVID-19 between September and the end of December.
