I noticed this bath:
http://www.qssupplies.co.uk/bathroom-furniture-shower-taps/131.htm

has options of a permanent anti-slip set into the bath floor, or at greater price, a permanently burnt-on quartz-sand anti-slip combination.

Was wondering what thoughts are in relation to permanent anti-slip options on a bath floor? I'd be using the bath also for a shower, so users would stand up in the bath.

If installed with an anti-slip bath floor, does this mean a rubber mat does not have to be used? Or perhaps a rubber mat provides better anti-slip properties than such permanent etched/moulded designs? Thanks.
