Recent program on this on the Beeb...........absolutely Amazing
How they could also take in to account of the elliptical orbit of the solar system is beyond belief.

Note that it was only a mere hundred years after it was found it that it was worked out what it was !!!

I too watched that program on the BBC. Amazing that someone had the skills in those ancient times, to produce such an intricate mechanism.
