Hi All

Got my new Stovax Cassette Stove, supposedly slots in where the open fire used to be

Anyways, after offering it in to make sure it all fits, I noticed that the outer frame is flush with the plaster work? It shouldn't be like that as the stone surround needs to fit behind it.

So upon closer inspection I noticed that the flue system is exactly on top of the stove and therefore I cannot move it forward any as it is a rigid system, does anyone have any ideas as to how I can get this to move forward :?:

I have used rigid steel 9" to 5" clay pot chimney adapter from fluefactory.com which pushes up into my existing clay pot lined chimney. Not sure if there is any flexible flue pipe that would suit the purpose? Here are some measurements:

The gap between the top of the stove and the flue (without the adapter) is about 12".

The gap between the top of the stove and the 5" part of the flue (with the adapter) is about 5"

Anyone have any ideas? I am totally stumped with this one, picture to follow in the next few mins to try and show the setup a little better.

Right this is how it looks from the side:

This is how it should look when it's finished.... as you can see from the drawing above I have no gap between the stove and the outer skin of the chimney to fit the stone surround on :(
