Any idea why my roof is dropping at the corner?

It looks like the roof is dropping slightly, I am wondering if it's going rotten.
We have had birds in there if that makes any difference.

Battens cannot be replaced without removing the tiles. The tiles are then affixed to the new battens. A few tiles stripped off at the gable end should confirm is the battens are rotting. How is that gable end finished? If the wall was to be too far back and battens over sailing too much, they could be bowing with the weight. More investigation is needed IMO.

Is it the roof dropping, or just the end of the gutter raised in relation to it, to create the fall needed for the discharge of rain water?

To me it looks like it's an optical effect because the guttering is on a slope.
Cover the guttering in the picture and the roof is straight

There is an increasing gap, under the tiles on the right, approaching the gutter - which suggests it is the roof.

It might be worthwhile the OP trying to get a photo of that section of the roof, but from the inside, if he can access the tight space.

The problem area won't be visible from the inside. It'll be obscured by the gable masonry. In fact, all may look healthy on the inside, whilst the outside can be rotten as an old pair.
