first of all hi to everyone on the forum i hope someone can help me.

Before i moved into our newly refurbed home last April i stained all the hard wood double glazed windows with a sadolin dark oak which is more of a black than oak.

were not over impressed with the dark colour so what's the best way to paint them white ?.

I spent an evening scouring the internet for reviews on primers and paints and some people reckon these are good. Can someone please help with choosing the right product/s , method as i know if i get it wrong its long way back.
here they are ;-

Lightly wet abrade with 400 grit wipe away any residue/slurry allow to dry and go with the Sadolin.

Two important things to remember are do not when sanding breakthrough the existing coating, and lightly abrade between coats.

That is 400 grit wet by the way ;)
