I keep getting the prompt t do so but knowing that apple downloads are generally carp, I'm a bit worried.
Why are you worried? iTunes downloads usually work pretty seamlessley, especially if you're on a Mac.

No, I havn't got a mac. Just using an ipod touch for music. It's just that the last two times I have downloaded from apple, I have had problems such as losing all downloaded music, or cover artwork disappearing. Their help pages are about as helpful as TalkTalk in that you rarely find the answer. I always google the subject when a download is thrust upon me and always find that it is causing all sorts of problems, so normally avoid doing it but then certain things do not work properly because I have not done it.
It's as though the updates are not tested. I might bite the bullet at some point but will make sure I have the time to sort it out if all goes wrong.
Thanks for you reply though, it's encouraging to know that sometimes it works ok.
