'Anyone found guilty of racism should not be in the game.

Everybody is racist. Everybody in the entire world.
To a greater or lesser degree, perhaps.
Racism, of any degree, has no place in sport, nor anywhere else.
And it would be very easy to identify the racism of the greater degree and eliminate it entirely.
Unfortunately racists want to perpetuate and excuse it.

A bunch of millionaire footballers engaging in a strange, knee-bending ritual because they were instructed to do so, in front of crowds who found it all a bit odd and started booing them... what more evidence do you need?

I suppose you believed that banging your pots and pans at the front door, at 6pm on a Wednesday during "the pandemic", was having some beneficial effect as well? Scaring away the evil spirits perhaps.

You can add all this nonsense to your collection of bones and teddy bears...
They're demonstrations of support, like the "Me too" movements.
And the opposite of protest marches.
Many people feel the need to demonstrate their support or opposition to some things.
Just like you feel the need to insult people who disagree with your opinion.

Political correctness (adjectivally "politically correct"; commonly abbreviated to P.C.) is a term used to describe language, policies, or measures that are intended to avoid perceived offense or disadvantage to members of particular groups in society. Since the late 1980s, the term has been used to describe a preference for inclusive language and avoidance of language or behavior that can be seen as excluding, marginalizing, or insulting to groups of people disadvantaged or discriminated against, particularly groups defined by ethnicity, sex, gender, sexual orientation, or disability.

So what's wrong with that?
The 'woke' adjective is and was intended to be pejorative.
But those to whom it was directed accepted it as the same as 'politically correct' and were proud to be described as such.

You can prove that, can you?

Racism is no more wrong or obscene than many crimes committed by those involved in football whom have never been banned from taking part in the great game.

I didn't suggest that anyone should be banned from the sport.
I said it would be easy to identify racism and eliminate it from the sport.
For instance it could become a foul to use a racist expression by a player, resulting in a free kick or penalty, depending on whether it was used during the game or outside of it.
It would soon stop any player racially abusing another player.

But when the higher echelons of FIFA are unaware of acceptable language, football shows it has little real concern for racism.

such a low bar, even the countryside is now being called racist - anything the far left does not like is branded as racist, the term has little value
