anyone good with tax codes

But as above you either owe a lot of back tax or there is a serious error. The T means it is still under investigation. But you want to ring them and see a inspector pronto.

IT support is what we used to call our cleaner who would religeously unplug everything to wipe around the socket and plug bless him. sorry cant help but laugh . :D

hmm after 1 hour in a queue finally I get some answers but when I question further I get put on hold, then @ 1 hour 7 minutes, the line goes dead!!

marvellous!!

Basically your screwed mate expect the knock on the door anytime, and have your receipts and books handy. The tax and revenue have unlimited powers of entry, and acess to your bank accounts. :(

Apparently they gave me a tax code of 68T against my IT employment, and a tax code of 742L against my Job Seekers Allowance which i stopped getting when I started work 4 months ago they asumed I was getting both.....letter is dated 19/01/12 and inbetween them sending me the letter and me calling up they received my P45 from the jobcentre, hmm that sounds fishy!!

Anyhoo my tax code is 7 something, started to make notes then got put on hold then got cut off, bummer!!

As Infidel.... your being monitered. Very closely. I suspect we dont have the full picture here - only what you want us to know.

only thing av missed out is why I was on a 250T code during the last tax year, due to underpaying tax some years ago! funny cos for the past 2 years ive had a tax rebate one for 100 quid and another for 120 quid

nothing dodgy to be honest, i wish cos then ide have more money!!

Same argument over some car tax, and they gave me a rebate for the same year !!!!!

Told them I now want it to go to court, sick of getting snotty 19 year olds in the office telling me how I should run my accounts.
