Hi. Does anyone know what these black things are?

How many, where are they and how old is the house?

Only spotted a couple on an extension from 1983

No idea then, at low level they might have been retro damp coursing, scattered around the whole wall cavity insulation. Just possible someone has inspected the wall ties with a borescope inspection camera and used them to plug the holes rather than cement.

I think it was a hole made to fit a ring for tying off a ladder. The plus just fills the hole. Is there another? Is there a sky dish above?

Might have been used to secure scaffolding.
