I've had a worcester bosch 37cdi installed and when i turn on the heating, which i am doing to circulate the flushing chemical it drops temperature rapidly then flashes

and back to temp and back to that, you would need to join the horizontal lines to the verticals to get an completely accurate representation, but you get the idea i hope.

Anyone know why?? it's not suggesting fault just something i hadn't seen before.

Flashing between the symbol and flow temp means the boiler is in syphon fill.
Basically what it is doing is filling the condence trap, it will run like this for 15mins.
It will also do it its self if boiler is not run for 48 hours.

Just safety measure

Why didnt your installer know that lee, or ave you gone and done it to get rid of the Ravenheat little star

Installer may have known, but he recently lost his mother and i didn't want to bother him with a trivial matter, as it turned out to be. He installed it while i was at work so i wasn't 100% on operation.

Yes the ravenheat is sitting in the back yard. Just got to balance the rads properly now, has anyone got a pair of clip on thermometers?? :D

I expect most of the professionals have digi thermostats!

But I dont see how that would help you though!

Won't help me with the display thing, that's been cleared up with the condense trap filling answer.

Need to set up the 20F drop across the panel, so that the furthest panels warm up properly, which they aren't doing at the minute.
