Anyway to mend this Hedge Trimmer gear teeth..?

As you can see from images my hedge trimmer gear mechanism lost some teeth and no more working.!! This is from PARKSIDE (LIDL) branded 2-in -1 hedge trimmer /Pole Pruner. I mistakenly tried to cut metal rod!!

Any DIY way to mend this gear..? Some photos attached. Please help.

No way will you repair that gear wheel - the stresses on it are enormous so its a new gear wheel needed.
I guess the teeth sheared due to the cutter blades rusting together or jamming on a heavy branch.
Regular greasing in that area is vital.

If you manage to get a gear, there looks to be a timing mark on it which should line up with one on the other gear.

Also bear in mind the damage done to that gear will have resulted in damage to the connecting gear.
Probably more economical to scrap the whole unit and buy a new one.
