Hey folks,

came home last night to discover that our trusty boiler was not working.

From reading elsewhere we had figured out that our pressure had dropped substantially after we bled the radiators some weeks ago. We have now corrected the pressure but cannot get the pilot light to ignite.

We have followed the instructions in the manual but to no avail.

Simply put, are we missing something really obvious before we call a professional?

any advice would be very much appreciated....Aberdeen is pretty cold!!

yours,

We've pressed the reset buttom numerous times, partly because we didn't know what it was and thought it would help. The guide says we should just be able to turn the boiler on and the pilot will light itself. When we turn it on the fan sounds like it's working, but the pilot light doesn't ignite.
