APPRENTICESHIP OPPORTUNITIES (PHASE 2)
Following the successful appointment and placement of our first group of Formwork Apprentices, I am delighted to advise of
further opportunities in the New Year.
Our Apprenticeship follows a formal diploma course at the National Construction College, Bircham Newton, Norfolk, in block
release. When not at College, our apprentices will attend one of our Construction Sites in the London area putting their new
knowledge into practice. The course will be between 12 and 24 months in length. Once capability and competencies are
attained, our apprentices will achieve at least NVQ Level 2 Construction Diploma and have transferable skills with the
Construction Industry.
We are now looking for suitable candidates for the following Apprenticeships:-
Formworker: makes temporary structures or moulds out of wood or metal, to be filled with concrete. When the concrete is
hardened, the structures are removed to reveal a perfect shape which can be used, for example, in constructing bridges,
foundations, beams and staircases.

groundworks for drainage, kerb laying, paving, installing drainage & service ducts. As well as carrying out all aspects of
concreting; testing fresh concrete, laying and finishing.
Civil Engineering Technician: is the link between engineers, the management team and operatives. Apprentices will learn
skills in setting out, quality control, checking & reporting on progress, managing excavations plant and piling, and learn planning
& design processes.
We Offer:
 A good starting salary, including basic salary when attending college
 All course fees, tuition, accommodation and some travel costs are met whilst attending college
