How do I remove my shower unit?
It looks like push fit connectors at the back?
But it won't budge if I pull.
Any ideas?

The removal process will be the same but if that model didn't come with the removal clips and you cant get any then they would probably need to be cut off.

I'd get in touch with Aqualisa first though, they're Cust service is usually really good.

Cust service said mine is an early discontinued version with no spares

I really need help to get this off the wall.
I've bought a JG Speedfit tool today to put the back of the push fits but still no joy

That wouldn't work, needs something deeper with thinner edges, can't seem to see anything that would work, I can see what it is I would like to use, if that makes sense and there doesn't seem to be anything close available

Yes I know what you mean when you can see it.
It still works but sprung at leak into the plasterboard cavity so I want to rule out a plumbing leak at the back.
It's probably just seals in the unit that heed replacing as it's had virtually no use in 22 years. We just bought the property and the bathroom is like new but dated.
I got the clip onto the copper. But it doesn't seem to help I think it needs to go copper side of the grey insert and not the body side.
I've ordered a new one from Amazon £520 but it seems a waste of it's just seals
And I've got another to do in the ensuite.

The edge of the removal tool needs to go into the push fit pipe coupler to the left (in the red box following the arrow), the grab ring that holds the pipe is in that coupling tee as they call it. You'll need 2 probably as both will need to be disconnected to pull the unit forward. The white plastic pipe to the right on the back of the shower body, that the pipe is running through, is just a guide/jig for the pipework coming in from the wall behind.

They're wrong and I am surprised, AL are usually really good with their support, as you say though the unit is 20+ years old.

The tee coupler you are trying to get disconnected looks to be this one

https://www.showerspares.com/search/rear_entry_tee_piece_129601/ with other bits too https://www.showerspares.com/aquali...all/aqualisa_aquastream_1997-2003_aquastream/

and this is the spares catalogue, so other bits may be available too

Thanks that's really interesting. I'll digest
You would think AL would have a removal tool.
Would this work?
Nope, not enough space and the HEP fittings have a section in the end that when pushed, forces down past the teeth disengaging them.

If you look at this pic, I would reckon the push fit grab ring in the fitting will be something similar to the silver grab ring with those teeth - the demount tool would need to be 3/4 round with a firm thin edge that will slide down into the fitting and push those teeth away from the pipe

I am not so sure it has grippers on because I removed the bottom entry bung which looks the same and it didn't have any grippers? I will try calling AL again.
