if the shower done and it's being replaced ........I really need help to get this off the wall.
then they would probably need to be cut off
Yes I know what you mean when you can see it.That wouldn't work, needs something deeper with thinner edges, can't seem to see anything that would work, I can see what it is I would like to use, if that makes sense and there doesn't seem to be anything close available
if the shower done and it's being replaced ........

They're wrong and I am surprised, AL are usually really good with their support, as you say though the unit is 20+ years old.Cust service said mine is an early discontinued version with no spares
Nope, not enough space and the HEP fittings have a section in the end that when pushed, forces down past the teeth disengaging them. Thanks that's really interesting. I'll digest
You would think AL would have a removal tool.
Would this work?
I am not so sure it has grippers on because I removed the bottom entry bung which looks the same and it didn't have any grippers? I will try calling AL again.Nope, not enough space and the HEP fittings have a section in the end that when pushed, forces down past the teeth disengaging them.
If you look at this pic, I would reckon the push fit grab ring in the fitting will be something similar to the silver grab ring with those teeth - the demount tool would need to be 3/4 round with a firm thin edge that will slide down into the fitting and push those teeth away from the pipe
