Aqualisa shower not working

This evening my shower has stopped working in that there is no pressure. The APL transformer is expectionally hot and there is a burning smell in the airing cupboard where the transformer is housed. Could this have burnt out therefore stopping the shower from working and the smell?

If it's pumped more likely the digital controller/pump has gone.
