(you may already know - we are changing/updating our heating system)

at the moment there is an Aqualisa shower fitted with our open vented system. We are changing to a combi boiler and have had 2 different lots of advice with regards to what is required to keep the Aqualisa shower

can anyone advise what adjustments we would have to make to keep it or is it not possible with the new system ?

Thanks

What type of Aqualisa shower is it, quartz?

If Quartz has it got a switch on the processor to switch between gravity and pumped/mains

it is a Quartz yes

Will get my husband to have a look later to see if there is a switch on the processor

If it's got the switch then you won't have a problem, it just needs to be changed to the mains option. If doesn't then you can disconnect the pump, but the connections don't normally accept mains pressure (leak) and you are looking at a new processor.

Edit - if it is part no. 206502 it will not accept mains pressure (maybe other units that don't have the switch that may also not be able to take it). If in doubt ring Aqualisa

Your best option would be to call the manufacturer for a definitive answer, they have a helpline (google should give you their tel no.)
