Need some advice. Existing pump, elecs and plumbing (isolators etc) for power shower is behind a screwed, removable panel (tiled) about 6 ins up from the shower tray. I am looking to replace or overlay the tiled walls with Aquamura. Can you cut and seal Aquamura with such an inspection panel, with the edges covered with end caps and silicone, or is the seal going to fail and ruin the marineply at some point ? My plumber says it's OK - just checking to see if anyone else has done this. The existing inspection panel has had some signs of minor water ingress over the last 10 years. Otherwise it means going through the wall into the wardrobe to resite the pump etc out of the shower area. Thanks.
