Dear Forum,

I'm installing a new shower and have used aquapanel within the enclosure.

On buying some expensive tiles which are 90 x 30 the store manager had advised not to use a ready mixed grout and also to PVA the aquapanel.

I undertand about using powered grout, but have been advised not to use PVA on the Aquapanel, which I have already done in order to prepare the wall for tiling.

Can anyone advise whats best to do, either a grout that would be OK or would most members try and remove the PVA, if so with what.

I will call tomorrow t the tile shop and ask the reason behind PVA the aquapanel.

Many thans for your thoughts

The tiles are too big for ready mix so bagged cement based adhesive is the right choice. You don't use PVA for tiling, there are specialist priming and tanking liquids that you use.

Can you take the aqua panels off and reverse them?

I could take aquapanels off, but it did say 1 side to face out for tiling, cant really see why I couldnt use the otherside, its just trying to get the right advice to stop the tiles dropping off.

Thanks
