aquastream shower fault

aquastream shower very very hot even when temp. reduced.... and noisy Any ideas on what is causing it and how to solve it?
Had drained down part of the system to replace wash basin taps in another part of the house. Conventional system.

sounds like its got an airlock maybe in the cold pipework.

what happens if you turn shower to fully cold ? does flow stop ?

yes water stops so how can I get rid of the air if it is an airlock? The stop cock is on the bottom floor, shower is on the 3rd floor.
