Hi all,

I'm in a 1920's semi with a draughty single glazed front door and a single glazed kitchen window and am looking to fix these issues (the rest of the house is well insulated and double glazed).

For the front door, there is a small porch with an open archway leading into it - the plan is to fit double / french doors of PVCu / composite in the archway to improve insulation and create a secure porch. I want this in black and half glazed. Is it possible to make composite doors that are arch-shaped? Does anyone know of any companies that do arch-shaped front doors in black composite of PVCu with black frames? My google searches have not led to much in this area.

For the kitchen window, I am replacing a wooden framed window that is natural (oak) coloured on the inside and gloss white on the outside. I am vaguely aware that the options with regard to foils and colourings of PVCu have advanced in recent years, but is it possible to get windows made that are white PVCu externally, and wood-grain foil covered internally? Is this a specialist request, and if so, does anyone know of any companies that could offer this?

Apologies for the total ignorance in all matters double glazing, but I want to make sure I'm up to speed before I start talking to any potential suppliers.

thanks!
