Generally speaking, are flexi tails that come with a new kitchen taps any good?

Or do professional plumbers bin these and use a branded type?

I want to do the job once and not have to worry for at least 2 years.

I've never had a problem with fitting the supplied flexi-tails. I’m not a professional plumber though but I’ve fitted at least half a dozen sets of taps. I would have thought that they should last at least two years.

Better still if possible use rigid pipework. Need some patience (and skill) fitting them, but will last indefinitely. And if the taps are at all wobbly, like on a thin stainless steel sink, it will improve things.

Biggest cause of insurance flood claims but they all come with them so just fit them as that's what customer is paying for.

Less strain on them the better.
