Are the border force and the RNLI losing their touch?

What, specifically, is nonsense? Your lack of evidence that boat arrivals face death and torture if returned, or that if you keep your focus you'll get there in the end?

I'm not going to indulge in a semantic yawnathon. But keep going if you wish.

Don't worry, that was a different type of question - a rhetorical question. We all know you can't prove your claim, I was just having a bit of fun.

Do you seriously not understand the difference ?
No. They are both helping poor, persecuted, law abiding refugees to enter our country illegally with no papers or checks on who they are. Only difference I can see is that the lorry driver might bring just a couple a day whereas the RNLI brings a thousand over in one day.

Perhaps the lorry driver should seat them in his cab for all to see. Would that be allowed? Personally, if we are picking up thousands of unknown people mid channel and just ferrying them to the U.K. and letting them come and go from hotels as they please, I can’t see why we should bother with border force or passport control any more. Can you?

What’s the difference with us picking up Karim* with no papers from mid channel and taxiing him to a hotel and letting Mahummad walk through passport control at Heathrow without checking his documents?

*We'll call him Karim because that’s who he tells us he is.
