Is there such a thing as a 'standard size' for garage doors (roller / sectional)

I will be getting a garage rebuilt in a few weeks and the existing door opening is 3.7m

One of the builders who have provided an estimate suggested that maybe there are standard width doors, so it could be more economical going for one of these and then adjusting the brickwork as required.

thanks !

Yes
Just look on any garage door website and they will sell a couple of sizes and frames
Then put those measurements into the calculator of a company who do made to measure

A made to measure roller door will be cheaper than any other type because it is the same material just cut to size rather than a lot more engineering for up and over/ sectional etc

Sectional doors will have pretty specific sizes.
Roller doors are made to any size
