Arghhhh Oak worktop still staining

Hi everyone .
I just had a solid Oak worktops fitted .. The carpenter said to get some Ronseal worktop oil .. We have applied 5 coats now .. But the worktop looks like crap ! It already has a few glass rings and some staining showing !
Please someone tell me how to solve this .. Im crushed as i love the worktops but i cant stand that staining ...
