I know this question has been asked before and I have read responses, but I have a further query.
Firstly, my boiler is 12 years old, but has worked really well. I also cannot afford a new boiler right now.
The main problem is that the heating will turn itself on whenever it wants to unless i turn the entire boiler off. The hot water temp and pressure is fine. When heating is on there is no noise, rads heat well.
The secondary problem to this is that the boiler is cycling every 20 seconds. Quite worrying. Now, I had this same problem last year and got an expert out who replaced the temperature sensor. The problem was solved. Hurrah!
So my question is, can the sensor be faulty again after just one year of use? Or do you think I should be looking at something else?
