I have moved into a new flat recently and it has a Ariston micro Genus 27 MFFI combi boiler that I think is about 4-5 years old.
The boiler had a problem with hot water in that it stopped after 20-30 mins of use. The gas was off but the pump and fans remained on and the "Defective discharge of Exhaust Fumes" light came on.
Turned out that the flue had been smashed on the outside, so I paid to have the flue replaced.
The hot water runs fine now.
However, when I turn the heating on now, it comes on for about 5mins and then the same light comes on.
I don't think its the flue because the hot water works fine.
Anyone have any ideas of what may be wrong??
