Ariston A1435 advantage washing machine

Please can anyone help i have a ariston a1435 washing machine but for some reason it is not working. i set the programmer to number 2 push the button to start the machine but nothing happens, the power light starts to flash and the door lock indicator light does not come on, i have replaced the door lock mecanism but still nothing, it should once you push power switch on light both door lock and power light and open water supply to allow water in machine but nothing.

please help

All Indesit machines suffer from strange faults at some point.

Check the carbons in the motor.
