We have just purchased 2 of the above heaters, the instructions don't make it very clear, the MI don't specify the 6 litre model do we follow the instructions for the 10 litre model, we are just unsure if we need the expansion vessel
The layout will be from stop tap on mains, about 2 metres of pipe (will need to check that measurement) then a tee piece to the water heater and about 0.5 metres to the cold tap (under sink version)
There will be no non return valves in the pipework only the mains stop tap
We will need to check the water main pressure before going ahead
Thanks for any advice

If you can make the supply 22mm then @ 2m an EV wouldn't be needed, as long as that is an uninterrupted supply from the stop tap. If there is anything tee'd then the measurement would be from that. If it's 15mm @ 2m or a NR valve is inline then an EV would be advised. It only states it for the 30L version but always advisable to use copper regardless.

It will be straight from the stop tap to a tee piece at the water heater and then on to the cold tap, nothing else in the pipework.
They are going in a shepherd's hut and we were going to use blue 20mm pipe under the hut which would be about 1.5m of the 2 metre length, we could change that and use copper though.
Thanks for your post
