Ariston boiler not working

We have recently moved and we have an old ariston boiler. I think its an mffi 23.

Today it stopped working. We have no hot water or heating. Ive tried resetting the boiler but it just wont light.

If i press the reset button an orange light flashes.

Ive tried turning it off and on in hope it would be that simple! Pressure is apprx 1.5bar, and the gas supply is fine, hob still works as normal.

Any ideas what else to check please?

Does it do anything at all when you turn a tap on? Any noises, or just the flashing light?

It doesnt do anything when you turn a tap on. The orange light only flashes when you press and hold the reset button

If it's completely silent and no unusual lights are flashing it's probably a PCB error. Time to get someone in to have a look at it
