ariston combi mffi 35 error e034 bubbling noise no ch/water

My Ariston aco 35 mffi combi condensing boiler has a fault E034, but this isn't in the manual! The boiler ignites then starts making noises like a boiling kettle, then the error code e034 appears and this cycle continues until boiler is switched off. There is no heating or hot water. All radiators have been bled and there are no obvious signs of a leak although the pressure does drop over a few days, but is at 1-1.5 bar at the moment. I have tried a few local plumbers (6 so far), but the earliest they can come is over a week away so I would be grateful for any advice/ideas

Dont know about that fault code but your description sounds like a pump/circulation problem

More likely they just don't like working on that model of boiler.

The makers should be able to suggest a local service agent.

Does it ever give an E033 code?
