ariston dia 20/24...hot water keeps cutting out

please help ...I have an ariston boiler dia 20/24 the ch is working fine but the hot water keeps cutting out and running cold then hot.......takes forever to get a decent amount of hot water...

I dont exactly recognise your boiler model but that symptom is typical of a blocked secondary heat exchanger.

any idea the cost involved in fixing

Get the diaphragm replaced. that should fix it.

Get someone who friends and family use and this person is competent (does not change parts unecessarily)
