Ariston Euro Combi boiler: no hot water?! Help!

I have a Ariston Euro Combi A/23 MFFI -A27 MFFI boiler

Recently the hot water setting stopped working, the boiler would not light when on this setting when hot water was running.

I can only get hot water when on the water/heating setting, so the heating has to be on for any hot water to be available.

It was suggested that the pressure was low, but the level is at 1 within the blue line zone, i have tried making the pressure slightly higher but this doesnt help.

Wondering if this is a common fault?

Or if there is a simple explanation to this problem?

Or if my boiler is bust and i need to fit a new one.

Use the search button for 'diaphragm'. and your boiler.

you don't need a new one, the diaphragm is very easy to change on your boiler, about 5 minutes.
