Hi

I've got an Ariston SX20 combi boiler and over the last week or
so it has had a problem of losing pressure. With the help of the
tech help line at Ariston I have already changed the PRV and topped
up the Expansion Vessel. This has led to an improvement but no solution.
After putting the correct pressure into the Expansion Vessel
a leak has appeared from within the boiler. Can any help me?
What is this part? What does it do? and can I replace it?

Here is a photo of the part (surrounded in red) the leak is at the right
hand side connection, the drip is appearing where the orange mark is.

thanks for any advice.

According to the breakdown its called a multi hydraulic connector which incorporates a connection for the pressure/temp guage. It also looks kike it houses the ch thermostat but not 100% sure.

The leak looks like its coming from the joint where its connected to the divertor valve. You may get away with just giving it a tighten if not you will have to drain boiler and fit new fibre washers.

that's relatively good news (except that my biggest spanner
so far doesn't fit it). I'll drain the boiler and replace the washers anyway.

Thanks for your help... I'll let you know how I get on tomorrow.
