Astra radio

The radio on my 04 astra comes on with the ignition,
its no big deal to simply turn it off, but can I set it
not to come on untill I need it? the handbook gives
no reference for this, as far as I know this is common
on most vauxhalls, except the older models.

Is there an option within the menu for Ignition Logic on/off? Try setting that to off.

When you have switched off ignition, press button to turn on radio, wait a few seconds then press to turn off. It should not come on with ignition.

Have tried both options but so far no luck!!
as I said not a major issue just a challenge

Is it a MK4 Astra? If so, probably yes. I ran across it in my manual at the weekend. I'll have a look later.
